Bryan Ferry announces "Summer Nights" dates, mixing songs classic and new!
Please note that Lucie Silvas is no longer supporting Bryan Ferry.
We're delighted to announce that Bryan Ferry, famed for his suave visual and vocal style will be performing at both Blickling Hall in Norfolk, and Petworth House in West Sussex this summer.
As well as showcasing his vast catalogue of Roxy Music and solo work, Ferry will be performing tracks from his new album, "Dylanesque".
Ferry is rightly famed as the king of emotional intensity, his voice ranging through langour and melodrama, often creating high-romance classics. Think of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", "Slave to Love" or "A Fool For Love" and you can't help but agree.
Meanwhile, Ferry's latest album is the highly acclaimed "Dylanesque" in which he performs versions of Dylan classics, including "Times They Are A-Changin'", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Positively 4th Street" and many more. - Bryan recorded a cover of Dylan's "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fallî way back in 1973 on his debut solo album, so his homage with this latest album is not unprecedented.
Having captivated audiences with Roxy Music, Ferry now prepares to demonstrate his solo credentials as an all round performer, composer and artist. Last year Roxy Music headlined to 40,000 fans at the Isle of Wight festival, and followed this with sell-out festival dates across Europe, culminating with another "top of the bill" performance at Live 8, in Berlin. - Bryan was also one of the few artists to perform at both Live Aid and Live8.
